It’s been rough getting back into the groove after the holiday weekend, but not too rough to find more things I just loved in the blogosphere!  Here are some of my favorites from this past week – enjoy!

• What’s new at Giannetti Home – {Velvet & Linen} – such a beautifully edited selection of Belgian furniture
• “Curated” home – {design*sponge} – so many fun antique-y items…I especially like the wall of framed paintings and big black display hutch
• Hudson store in Boston – {decorology} – ooh such a pretty store! – love their chairs (and I spy some KWID imperial trellis and Dash & Albert rugs!)
• DC designer Frank Babb Randolph – {Things That Inspire}
• Punches of pink! – {Haven & Home} – see, pink can be done in a home without it being overwhelming!
• Metrohome.com sofas/chairs – {Dose of Design} – unique and awesome upholstered chairs and sofas
• Vanity round-up – {design*sponge} – another one of Grace Bonney’s extensive round-ups…this time, vanities!
• Design crush on Vallone Design – {everything LEB} – wow, love the chalkboards in the mudroom, that skirted chair next to the soaking tub!
• Another gorgeous bathroom – {Velvet & Linen} – do they ever have a miss?!  I love the beautiful marble tile and that quatrefoil dressing chair!
• Tia Zolden cottage – {Blue Hydrangea} – me likey all the zebra print and pops of turquoise
• Bookshelf obsession – {Simply Seleta} – I share her bookshelf obsession!
• Design trend: indigo blue – {Turquoise LA} – see, I’m not crazy for wanting to put some pops of peacock blue in my living room!
• Cowhide rug round-up! – {Inspired Spaces – Shades of Light} – I kind – okay, really – want to somehow put a cowhide rug in our living room…or dining room? – this is a great selection!
• Layer the details – {Shelter} – so much color and layered interest in this apartment!
• Junktiques gold mine! – {Brooklyn Limestone} – Mrs. Limestone scores an awesome (tufted!) chair for her bedroom (check out the framed TV above the mantle – yespleaseandthankyou!)
• Design crush on Stephen Knollenberg – {pure style home} – love every single one of these rooms
• Decorating with green – {decorology} – I reallreallyreally love the color green
• Mt. Carmel “home tour” – {Fly Through My Window} – a really lovely “tour” through her parents’ home town
• AWESOME painted floor! – {design*sponge}
• More pops of peacock blue – {Blueprint Bliss}
• Design crush on Kay Douglass – {Haven & Home} – ack I love all of these rooms! (so much tufting!)
• Dining room hutch – {Small & Chic in C’ville} – totally digging this Horchow hutch (and all the fun inside – hello eggplant foo dogs!)

Recipes:

• Blueberry Boy Bait – {Smitten Kitchen} – ooh this sounds delish…might have to put the 2 pints of blueberries I just bought to good use!
• Blackberry Tart – {Heart of Light}
• Grilled Chicken & Strawberry Salad – {What’s Kookin’ in Kara’s Kitchen} – mmmm that marinade sounds SO good
• Spicy wok shrimp with coconut rice (+ other easy weeknight recipes} – {urban nest} – this sounds SO tasty and easy!
• Homemade fruit leather – {Fly Through My Window} – Husband will love me forever if I make these for him!
• Lemony zucchini goat cheese pizza – {Smitten Kitchen} – my mom’s going to love this for her exploding zucchini plants!

Projects & DIY:

• “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” bachelor party invitations – {Brooklyn Limestone} – absolutely one of the most elaborate and amazing homemade invitations I’ve ever seen!
• IKEA rug –> pillow – {urban nest} – love the creativity and love the result!
• Cheap & chic paper – {High-Heeled Foot in the Door} – great selection of patterned paper to be used pretty much anywhere…I’m thinking the back of a china cabinet?!
• Wallpaper wipe-off board – {design*sponge} – love this project (and I could totally use the paper found in the link above!)
• Books as a hostess gift – {Picnics Under the Moon} – great set of suggested books for hostess gifts
